SILVER MINERALS AND PARAGENESIS IN THE KANGJIAWAN Pb–Zn–Ag–Au DEPOSIT OF THE SHUIKOUSHAN MINERAL DISTRICT, HUNAN PROVINCE, CHINA

چکیده
The Kangjiawan deposit, in the Shuikoushan district, Hunan Province, China, is a representative hydrothermal Pb–Zn–Ag– Au deposit in this region. The orebodies consist mainly of pyritic Pb–Zn ores. Silver minerals are associated with Pb–Zn mineralization. Ag-bearing Pb–Zn ores in the deposit are characterized by Ag > Cu > Sb content. Silver occurs mainly as silver minerals, such as minor argentian tetrahedrite, freibergite and abundant polybasite–arsenpolybasite, pearceite and pyrargyrite– proustite, and all are hosted in galena. The assemblages of silver minerals found in the major orebodies change from the southern to the northern part, from argentian tetrahedrite + freibergite + pearceite + arsenpolybasite + pyrargyrite–proustite in the south to polybasite–arsenpolybasite + pyrargyrite, and to pyrargyrite in the north.

Taknar formation consists of sericite schist, chlorite schist, chlorite-sericite schist and some meta-diabase- gabbro-diorite. Taknar Polymetal (Cu-Zn-Au-Ag-Pb) Massive sulfide deposit formed at certain horizon of Taknar formation. Three style of mineralization ar...

Qaleh-Zari specularite-rich Cu-Ag-Au deposit is located 180 Km south of Birjand, in eastern Iran. Host rocks are mainly Tertiary calc-alkaline to K-rich calc-alkaline of 40.5±2 Ma and Jurassic sandstones and shales. Three major sub-parallel steep quartz veins are identified in different rock types, in particular andesitic rocks. The Qaleh-Zari deposit is a specularite-rich hydrothermal, Cu-Ag-A...

The copper skarn deposit at Gowdal is located in northeast of Shivardagh batholithic body, north of Ahar, East-Azarbaidjan Province. The Shivardagh intrusive body is a part of the magmatic belt of the Alborz-Azarbaidjan-Lesser Caucasus which in turn is related to the magmatic arc of the Meso-Tethys Ocean. The skarn mineralization of copper, iron, and molybdenum (chalcopyrite, pyrite, molybdenit...

Qaleh-Zari is a Fe-oxide Cu-Ag-Au vein type deposit located 180 km south of Birjand, in eastern Iran. Host rocks are mainly Tertiary calc-alkaline to K-rich calc-alkaline with transition to shoshonitic andesite and andesitic basalts, but in the central part shale and sandstone of Jurassic age. Andesitic rocks from the western region of Qaleh-Zari were dated to 40.5 ± 2 Ma. Four trends of faults...

Agh-Darreh copper deposit is located in Tarom area, about 25 km north of Abhar city. Main alterations identified in this region include silicic, argillic, and propylitic. Andesite and silica veins host sulfide mineralization. Chalcopyrite and pyrite are the main hypogene minerals accompanied by gold and silver in siliceous veins, with smaller amounts of galena. Malachite, azurite and goethite a...
